Bluewater boasts four distinct public beaches, you can visit them all!
PIER BEACH/BAYFIELD MAIN BEACH
Bluewater's most popular beach location, Bayfield's Main Beach, proudly boasts a Blue Flag status, fully equipped life saving station, drive up access, parking and public washrooms.
Located next to the Marina, you can enjoy a stroll on the pier, a fresh water swim or just take in the sunshine on the large sandy beach! Located only a short walk from the Historic Village of Bayfield's restaurants and boutiques, it's a great option for those looking to enjoy a day on the shores of Lake Huron!
BAYFIELD SOUTH BEACH
Sometimes referred to as the Howard Street Beach, this beach is located just south of Bayfield's Main Beach. It is reached by way of a staircase with approximately 80 steps to the sandy shore. Bayfield's South Beach provides views of Bayfield's famous shipwreck.
HOUSTON HEIGHT BEACH
Located at the end of Pavilion Road, just south of Bayfield, you will find Houston Heights Beach.
Ample parking, a large picnic pavilion (with washrooms), a wood lot and a small play area with swings for the kids can be found in this park like setting. This secluded location offers access by way of a staircase with approximately 85 steps down to the sandy shores.
This location is great for families looking to escape the crowds.
HAY TOWNSHIP BEACH
At the end of Sarara's Road, on a bluff over-looking Lake Huron you will find a look out offering the most breathtaking lake views!
